Meet Dylan Skipper

by Shriners on July 23, 2012

Born without a fibula in his right leg, Dylan Skipper’s parents were told he would never walk, run, or play sports. At four years old, Dylan underwent an amputation of his lower leg at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Greenville. After that, nothing could slow him down. Now, at eleven years old, Dylan is the leading tackler on his football team and the starting first baseman as well as a starting pitcher on his baseball team. In fact, Dylan has made the AllStar team 3 times, including this past baseball season! Dylan says, “Shriners Hospitals for Children — Greenville is a great place. The hospital makes it possible for kids to do things they never thought they could.”
